SIGNS &/OR SYMBOLS OF END OF THE AGE & JESUS COMING
WHAT ARE THE SIGNS &/OR SYMBOLS OF END OF THE AGE & JESUS COMING?
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall thes
e things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

SIGNS ARE- things representing something else: something that indicates or expresses the existence of something else not immediately apparent.

SIGNS are symbols…
Jesus in Matthew 24:4-8 says the “beginning ” SIGNS(note verse 8 ARE:
1. FALSE PROPHETS
2. WARS & RUMORS OF WARS
3. FAMINES & EARTHQUAKES
Beginning in Matthew 24:9- Jesus adds
4. Death
5. Persecution against those who are perceive as belonging to Him or His race where there will be:
a. Apostasy (verse 10)& betrayals
b. Increase of false teachers (verse 11)
c. Increase of wickedness & rejection of the Laws of God (verse12) so that people love will grow cold (verse 13)
d. But despite the difficulties through the deception the true gospel WILL BE PREACH-WHICH IS THE GOSPEL OF THE SOON COMING GOVERNMENT OF GOD (verse 14), the END OF THE age WILL COME(verse 14)!
THE BEGINNING OF THE END OF THE AGE OF MAN IS MARKED BY THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION(verses
15-22)&/OR the GREATEST TIME OF TROUBLE ON EARTH which is called JACOB’S TROUBLE!
IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE DISTRESS/ TROUBLE THIS WILL BE THE LASTS SIGN OF JESUS COMING (VERSE 29)
the SEVEN TRUMPETS WILL BE SOUNDED where the following summary of the first SIX TRUMPETS is written:
“‘the sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not give its light;
the stars will fall from the sky,
and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’
Then the Last or Seventh Trumpet is sounded where Jesus Comes to intervene on the affairs of the earth(verse 30) and his Angels will gather from the four corners of the earth those who are His elect-His chosen people.
